Who can vote? If you are a 1) U.S. citizen, 2) at least 18 years of age (or will turn 18 by the election date), you may register to vote.
Info for NC Residents: if you are an NC resident (regardless of your home county), you can complete the form online (if you have a state-issued ID/license) or print the online form and mail to your county's board of elections. Alternately, you pick up a paper voter registration form in the library. You must register to vote by October 14th, 2022 to vote in the mid-term elections OR you can register and vote on the same day at early voting locations between Oct 20th - Nov 5th, 2022.
Info for Residents of Other States: If you are a resident of another state, you can still vote in mid-term elections by casting an absentee ballot. The rules vary by state, but absentee voters will need to 1) register sooner than voters who intend to vote in-person and 2) request their ballot several weeks before the election.
