• Use Quotation Marks to search phrases.
• Use the advanced search option.  It has more options to help you find the information you need.
• For a college paper, you will often be asked to provide scholarly or peer reviewed sources for your papers. Choose the type of publication you need, such as magazines, newspapers, or scholarly journals.
• Be sure and use the tools to cite the articles in APA format. You can copy and paste these into your Refererences page.
• Combine terms to narrow your results.
• Use limiters as needed for dates, geographical information, etc.
• Use the pdf version rather than the html if you want to see the page image with charts, graphs, images, etc.
• If you do not see a View Now link, then we may not have access to the full text, but you can request it through Interlibrary Loan.

Search for Articles

WorldCat Discovery is the library search engine that searches across 90+ databases in signle search. You can find millions of journal articles using Discovery. To search multiple keywords or filter results, click on 'Advanced Search'.

An annotated bibliography is an organized list of citations  to sources, usually books or articles. Each citation is followed by a annotation which may include a summary, and evalution of the material and its relevance.

Be sure and find out what your instructor wants you to include in the annotation paragraphs.
